Avnan was established in 1995 when brothers Anuj Jain and Neeraj Jain purchased the central vacuum controls division of Gee Jay Group International. Avnan has since steadily expanded based on their unwavering commitment to innovation, quality and responsiveness to clients’ needs.

- Avnan starts producing full electrical kits and assemblies for customers seeking more savings and efficiency
1999
- Avnan makes an innovative breakthrough with intelligent, microprocessor based controls for the central vacuum industry
2001
- Avnan begins supplying mechanical humidistats, synchronous motors and power adaptors to the humidifier industry
2002
- Avnan pioneers the first-ever Variable Speed Control for central vacuum cleaners
- Avnan introduces humidistat kits complete with custom cases and accessories to product line
2003
- Avnan adds current sensors and solenoid valves
2004
- Another Avnan breakthrough – electronic humidistats that automate indoor humidity based on outdoor temperature
2005
- Avnan launches Asian office in China to facilitate high-quality manufacturing at more competitive pricing
- Avnan introduces its Supply Managed Inventory (SMI) program to make supply chain management less complex, time-consuming and costly
- Profit magazine recognizes Avnan as one of Canada’s top 100 fastest growing companies
2010
- Avnan achieves ISO9001:2008 registration
